With 30-years of industry-specific technical and broader leadership expertise, in service to leading ICT service providers in Africa; Wiaan is a subject matter expert in network rollout, operations management, sales and marketing. His track record includes implementation / management of bespoke and broad spectrum technical solutions that have consistently earned market share and definitive bottom line benefits. Wiaan started his career at Telkom and reached the position of Managing Executive at Cell C, 22 years later, accountable for the setup and leadership of end-to-end Retail, Technical & Sales Operations, as well as implementation and profitable monetisation of Wifi Express Networks for Public Access Wi-Fi Internet Service. During this tenure, as Technical lead for Cell C, negotiated and executed the 1st ever TowerCo deal in SA with American Tower Corporation. He has played an integral role in moving forward the complete life cycle of tech driven communications in South Africa - and beyond into Africa. Wiaan holds professional credentials in Leadership from Gordon Institute of Business Science, Telecom, Policy & Regulation Management from University of the Witwatersrand and Executive Development from University of the Free State.

Sohail has 30 years of experience in financial services, acquired at leading multinational financial institutions. He started his career at Citibank (London) reaching the positions of Head of Global Product Development for Financial Institutions, Head of Structured Finance for Asia Pacific and Head of Cross Border European Structured Product Arbitrage within six years. His responsibilities included process and risk management, building and management of revenue, product innovation and deal execution in Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Far East. Subsequently, he worked at Barclays Capital (London) for nine years holding senior positions including Managing Director, with responsibility for expanding the company’s Structured Capital Markets business beyond the UK into North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. He then worked at Cobussen and Partners, providing advisory services for private equity infrastructure projects in South Asia, the Middle East and the UK and developing a portfolio of structured investments with a group of private and institutional investors. Sohail holds an M.Sc. in Economics (Accounting & Finance) from the London School of Economics and an LLB (Business Law) from City of London Business School.
